Falcotrans Ltd, a well-established International Haulage Company, specializing in Temperature Controlled Cargoes, is searching for motivated (uncertified) Reefer Technicians who will work on refrigeration units of reefer containers, trailers, and trucks, to join their team.
The chosen candidate shall be responsible for diagnosing faults and repairs both mechanical and electrical faults of both Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
Responsibilities
• To Diagnose faults and effect necessary repairs, rebuilds, and/or replaces electronic, electrical parts
• To maintain refrigeration units and change mechanical parts as required
• Determines proper part numbers by consulting service and parts manuals
• Operates appropriate powered industrial equipment when necessary
• Understands safety takes precedence over operating productivity at all times
• Inspects refer repair area for safety conditions
• Takes necessary measures to prevent injuries and property damage
• Complies with environmental regulations as it pertains to their area of responsibility
Requirements
• Prior refrigerator/reefer repair experience is required
• Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
• Conforms with and abides by all work regulations, policies, procedures, safety rules and instructions
• Comfortable with working alone and/or with minimal supervision
