A client of ours specialised in Business Support Services is looking to onboard a Senior Finance Executive to join their growing team, and work closely with the CFO, as well as oversee finance operations for their Head Office overseas, with the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting and financial reporting:
Duties:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models also preparing ad hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group in accordance with IFRS standards
Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis in accordance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS (as applicable).
Full responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting for smaller entities within the group.
Compile and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings, as required
Coordinate internal and external audits, including documentation and liaison with auditors
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, also assisting in implementing financial controls and best practices across the Group
Support readiness for listed entity requirements, including disclosures and governance
Contribute to process improvements to reduce bottlenecks and accelerate reporting timelines, also assisting in the implementation and optimisation of financial systems and tools
Supervise and support administrative finance staff based in the Netherlands
Requirements
Must be comfortable working in a small, dynamic team with cross-border collaboration
3+ years of local experience working in a similar role, particualry having had exposure in financial reporting
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience with listed entities or capital markets would be a strong advantage
Must be open to travelling to their Head Office ( located in The Netherlands ) when required
Education and Experience
Must be ACCA qualified ( or equivalent ) or be at the final stages
