- We are currently seeking a Accounts Payable Accountant (M/F/X) to join our dynamic finance team. The position is based in the heart of Brussels and reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Our client is a global leader in energy transition located in the heart of Brussels. They are looking for a Accounts Payable Accountant (M/F/X) for a long-term position.
Your responsibilities for this Accounts Payable Accountant (M/F/X) position are as follows:
Manage the complete accounts payable process, including receiving, reviewing and entering invoices into the accounting system.
Ensure payment monitoring and compliance with payment terms.
Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve billing issues and respond to inquiries.
Prepare payments and process bank statements.
Participate in monthly and annual closings by providing the necessary information and respecting deadlines.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company accounting and financial policies.
The profile sought for this Accounts Payable Accountant (M/F/X) position is as follows:
Degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
Strong analytical skills and ability to proactively solve problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and Dutch is an asset.
Ability to work independently while being an effective team member.
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Strong professional ethics and respect for confidentiality standards.
We offer you a long-term temporary assignment and a salary package between 2,500 and 3,000 euros gross.
