Responsibilities in your new role:
Sourcing new products, developing, and implementing purchasing strategies
Develop relationships with key suppliers negotiating best price and lead time whilst continually monitoring quality and performance
Daily use of Sage X3 system for stock replenishment and demand forecasting
Attend tradeshows and ensure that current stock range is evolving to meet customer demands
Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets
Strong focus on process improvements around procurement systems and processes
What you will need to succeed:
A minimum of 3 years procurement experience at a senior level
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and all Microsoft Office packages
CIPS qualifications (Desirable but not essential)
