Prestige Travel Marketing Ltd is looking to recruit a Chef Tournant to join their team on a full-time basis at the Cavalieri Art Hotel.

 

Job Role

 

The Chef Tournant assists the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the day-to-day running of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standard of food production and service. The role involves effective supervision of kitchen staff, maintenance of hygiene standards, and control of food costs in line with company policies.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

• To ensure that each dish leaving the kitchen meets quality, quantity, presentation, and temperature standards.

 

• To implement work schedules as instructed and ensure operational efficiency.

 

• To maintain effective communication among all levels of the kitchen structure.

 

• To check and ensure compliance with H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) standards.

 

• To monitor and maintain stock levels, conducting stock takes as required.

 

• To deputize in the absence of the Sous Chef.

 

• To ensure all kitchen staff follow company and statutory hygiene regulations.

 

• To ensure fair discipline and adherence to company policies within the kitchen.

 

• To handle maintenance issues promptly and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area.

 

• To attend training sessions and seminars as directed to enhance skills and knowledge.

 

• To control and manage food costs in line with the budget and company sourcing policies.

 

• To ensure all senior and junior chefs are familiar with the

day’s requirements and tasks.
