As Director , you’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients and an inspiring leader for your team. You’ll lead a close-knit team of 11 professionals and be responsible for the Westerlo office and its further expansion. You’ll play a key role in the strategic growth of our organization and in the development of your team members . Your leadership will shape the team’s performance while creating an environment where your people can grow and excel.
You advise and guide clients on complex financial issues and strategic challenges.
As a manager , you coach a dynamic team, inspiring them to reach their full potential and ensuring a culture of collaboration, engagement and continuous learning.
You play an active role in further developing the competencies of your team members and provide appropriate feedback and guidance.
You are responsible for supervising challenging files and providing substantive support where necessary.
You identify commercial opportunities with existing and new customers and actively contribute to the growth of our department.
You contribute ideas on improving working methods and processes to optimize efficiency and quality within the team.
Why are you the Director of Accountancy we are looking for?
Education & experience
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy-Taxation , with the ITAA title.
You have 12 years of experience in accounting, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Leadership & vision
You have a clear vision and entrepreneurial mindset to stimulate the growth of our accounting department.
You have leadership experience : you know how to effectively manage, motivate and coach a team to achieve both individual and collective success.
Personal qualities
You are driven , ambitious and continue to develop yourself continuously.
You have team spirit and the drive to further strengthen our reputation as a pragmatic and quality-oriented service provider.
Technical & strategic skills
You have an affinity with IT and digital transformation.
You have strong communication skills : you know how to translate figures into clear, practical advice for our clients.
You have an excellent command of Dutch and English.
