Group financial accounting and reporting analyst

Your daily tasks may include:

 

preparing financial reporting on behalf of OpCos (Financials, Expense by Function, CAPEX, etc.) in accordance with IFRS and HEINEKEN policies

supporting with first-time reporting of newly acquired OpCos and entities being disposed of

verifying consolidated financial data accuracy and completeness within given timeframes, for actuals and planning cycles. Identifying issues, compliance gaps or deviations, assessing impact on group reporting, prioritising and suggesting solutions according to own expertise

proactive engagement in the Finance Transformation agenda:

participating or leading projects that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance and other Global functions within HEINEKEN

contributing to development of new processes and enhancements to existing processes

responding to queries and issues that are moderate/complex and may be ambiguous, based on policies/procedures and guidelines which are broad and general in nature. Translating rules into procedures, policies and treatments.

involving in shaping and communicating group reporting requirements to OpCos and ensuring on-time and in-full reporting of OpCos

collecting and analysing global financial data, preparing and presenting reports with useful insights, effectively presenting facts and interpreting them for global decision-making process

ensuring compliance with HEINEKEN policies, guidelines and regulations across OpCos

supporting internal and external audits by preparing information as and when requested

keeping up with relevant developments in IFRS and SCOA and exchanging information with OpCos, Regions and liaising with Global Departments where relevant

driving actions to maintain or increase the level of group data quality.

Sharing own process expertise with Group, Regions, OpCos and other members of HGSS team

executing assigned process controls and proactively reporting any instances of non-compliance.

You are a good match if you have:

 

bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting

minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance with experience in accounting/financial reporting/consolidation

ability to apply IFRS knowledge

ability to independently engage complex financial and business control issues and resolve them in an international environment

ability to effectively manage the relationship with senior stakeholders

excellent analytical skills

used to work under stringent deadlines, keeping in mind quality, accuracy and timeliness.

You are a perfect match if you also have:

 

ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification

experience with a reporting tool such as Analysis for Office, Power BI, etc
