Scope, Purpose and Objective
The Groups & Events Sales Executive is responsible to respond to all communications related to groups and events reservations. Creates and maintains all groups and events reservations, and is responsible for all documentation being confirmations, cancellations and modifications. The Groups & Events Sales Executive is to assist the Sales Manager as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
Manage an evens schedule to maximise yield
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
Participate in hotel promotional activities
Gathering market and customer information to stay relevant in the market
Prepare and present sales proposal to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the hotel
Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate service that best meet their specifications and needs
Ensures their property events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales.
Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
