A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Conference & Events Team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Malta. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Conference & Events Executive to join our Commercial Team and help deliver exceptional experiences for our residential groups and event clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Manage the logistics and smooth execution of events from start to finish.
Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients and group organisers, ensuring all event details are arranged to the highest standard.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
Administrative Support: Prepare, organise, and distribute all event-related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Hotel Tours: Conduct informative and engaging show rounds for potential clients.
Sales Development: Identify and act on opportunities to drive sales and improve conversion rates.
Up-Selling: Confidently promote additional services to enhance client experience and revenue.
Promotional Support: Participate in hotel promotional activities to attract new business.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in a similar events, operations, or sales role within hospitality.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the operations team and other departments.
Proactive Mindset: A creative, proactive approach to finding new business opportunities.
Operational Knowledge: Good understanding of hotel operations, including food & beverage, to ensure successful event execution.
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in Maltese and/or another language is a strong advantage.
