Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality profiles, is currently looking for a F&B Manager to join the team of our client in Ghent.

 

Our client is a 4-star lifestyle hotel located in Ghent, operating under an international brand and positioned within the premium business segment.

 

The hotel attracts a predominantly B2B, corporate and MICE clientele, with significant activity in seminars, meetings, conferences and group events.

 

The Food & Beverage department represents a key strategic revenue driver and offers strong potential for repositioning and commercial growth.

 

We are therefore seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially driven F&B Manager capable of energising and developing the F&B offer.

 

Your Role

 

As F&B Manager, you will oversee the entire Food & Beverage operation, including restaurant, bar, breakfast, banqueting and MICE catering.

You will act as a strategic leader, revenue developer and operational manager.

 

Commercial Development & Business Growth

Reposition and revitalise the F&B offering

Increase attractiveness for the local corporate market

Work closely with the Sales team to maximise MICE revenue

Develop creative concepts and targeted offers for B2B clients

Optimise F&B revenue streams during meetings, events and seminars

Financial Performance & Control

Prepare and manage the F&B budget

Monitor KPIs (food cost, beverage cost, payroll ratio, profitability)

Implement corrective and optimisation strategies

Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong cost control

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and structure the restaurant, bar and banqueting teams

Manage demanding operational teams with confidence and authority

Rebuild engagement, accountability and performance culture

Recruit, train and develop talents

Improve team stability and working atmosphere

Operational Excellence

Ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction

Maintain brand standards and compliance

Optimise service flow across breakfast, restaurant and events

Collaborate closely with the

General Management team

Skills Required

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional who:

 

Has at least 5 years of experience in F&B management, ideally in a 4★ or 5★ hotel environment

Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset

Is comfortable in a B2B and MICE-driven environment

Has proven experience managing challenging teams

Is analytical, structured and results-oriented

Maintains strong operational credibility and visibility on the floor

Languages:

 

Dutch required

Professional English is essential
