Job Purpose
To be responsible for various important tasks necessary for running of the shop as per standards and policies set by the shop manager. To ensure that customers are served in the best way possible and to achieve sales targets.
Main duties:
– Assist customers in finding the item they require
– Promote company is extensive range of products and give advice on product selection
– Secure and follow up orders to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction
– Prepare quotations and product documentation as required
– Assist in the collection of payments from customers
– Maintain and promote a good long-lasting relationship with customers
– Answer customer queries
– Deal with customer’s disputes, complaints and warranty claims
– Keep the shop area clean, tidy and up to date
– Receive and store delivery of stock
– Load, unload and deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner
Requirements
– Customer and sales focused
– Flexible, detail oriented, professional and positive attitude
– Excellent communication and organisational skills
– Ability to communicate in both English and Maltese
– Ability to understand the importance of given deadlines
– Computer literate and holds basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
– Clean transport driving licence and good conduct
– Training will be provided, however technical knowledge will be considered an asset
