Hotel Maintenance Technician

Our client within the hospitality industry are currently looking for a skilled Technician to join their engineering team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Ensure the smooth operation of plant room equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, and water distribution systems;

Conduct routine inspections and carry out preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure;

Respond efficiently to maintenance requests;

Troubleshoot and resolve faults in equipment and systems;

Maintain accurate records of completed tasks;

Adhere to all health and safety standards, including fire protection protocols;

Coordinate with external service providers when necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Technician role within a hotel or similar hospitality setting is preferred;

Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance procedures;

Ability to work within a team or independently;

Very good communication skills;

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekend and public holidays;

Currently already residing in Malta.

Education and Experience

A technical diploma or relevant certification is preferred

Previous local experience in a similar role is mandatory
