Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients) under chef supervision;
Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces;
Receive and store deliveries;
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times;
Requirements
Hands-on attitude, keen to learn kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Excellent communication skills in English
Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene principles
Team-player mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
SkillPass is required for TCNs
Willing to work on roster basis Monday to Sunday and public holidays
Currently residing in Gozo or willing to relocate from Malta;
Education and Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is required
