Job Description
Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta, would like to engage a Production Technician. Conducting predictive, routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment to ensure seamless operations of the production facility. Reporting to the Production Manager your responsibilities will include:
Ensure the prompt and accurate start-up of both the Water Line and Soft Drinks Line.
Collaborate closely with the team leader and work effectively as a team member.
Plan and organise work systematically to minimise intervention time while maximising yield and efficiency.
Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring tasks are completed to the required standards.
Conduct predictive, routine, and preventive maintenance on production lines and associated equipment as directed by the Production Manager.
Record and analyse all necessary information, taking appropriate preventive action to minimise downtime. Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of all required forms and documentation.
Working Hours:
0600hrs – 1400hrs,
1400hrs – 2200hrs,
2200hrs – 0600hrs.
Attractive salary + shift allowance + overtime.
Requirements
Capable of analysing problems and devising effective strategies for solutions.
Skilled in multitasking, prioritising tasks, and managing time efficiently.
Proactive in recommending improvements to equipment and processes.
Possesses a technical background.
Adaptable to working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Hold excellent level of written and verbal English
Previous local experience in manufacturing.
Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
Education and Experience
In possession of Electrical License A certification would be seen as an asset but not a must.
