Answer all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
Handle bookings accurately and keep messages updated.
Provide guests with accurate information on the outlet and hotel.
Assist in maximizing table occupancy and managing waiting lists.
Monitor future booking constraints.
Maintain knowledge of all foods and drinks offered.
Keep guest profiles updated in the booking system.
Communicate reservations to the Manager or Headwaiter on duty.
Coordinate large bookings with the Manager before confirmation.
Greet guests warmly, using their names, and escort them to their seats.
Engage naturally with guests and upsell where appropriate.
Report complaints or comments to the Manager/Headwaiter.
Promote hotel outlets and services.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
Excellent guest service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised.
High standard of personal presentation.
Confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
Very good spoken and written English.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Hands-on experience with cash handling and ideally Micros Simphony POS.
Valid local Food Handling License in accordance with the Food Safety Commission of Malta.
