Main Duties of the Job
Ensure that IFI provides timely and accurate advice to the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment and his Department on strategies and policy development as necessary to conserve, protect, manage, market, develop and improve inland fisheries including sea angling;
Prioritise, manage and direct the corporate governance and activities of the organisation;
Shape and promulgate the vision of the organisation and implement the five-year strategic plan in consultation with the Board by ensuring that the agreed strategy is successfully delivered in closely monitored, results-driven, practical, measurable outcomes that are reported to the Board by way of meaningful management information on a regular basis;
