Job Description

For our Cooks department within LuxairServices , we are looking for a:

Cook (m/f/x) – 9-month fixed-term contract

 

Missions:

Prepare hot dishes according to the defined recipes for storage according to a forecast

Prepare the components that make up a cold dish

Prepare the daily meal for the catering canteen

Manage the supply of prepared and frozen meals according to the daily order

Prepare special orders not included in the daily schedule.

Establish HACCP plans and monitor critical control points in the kitchen in collaboration with the HACCP manager.

Coordinate the operational aspects of catering support

SKILLS

Minimum criteria required for the position

Possess a CATP (Certificate of Professional Aptitude) for cooks or equivalent, as per Article L. 222-4 of the French Labour Code.

Having proven experience in cooking is essential

Knowledge of at least one of the official languages (Luxembourgish, French or German)

Desired or to be acquired criteria

 

Having basic knowledge of the equipment used and the specifics of catering

Sort your waste

Having knowledge of HACCP standards

Use cleaning products

Having training in ergonomics

Ability to work in a team

To be rigorous

Be organized

Knowing how to lead a team

To be self-reliant
