About the role:
The Cleaning Attendant must be reliable and detailed oriented to ensure that our short-term rental properties are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness for guest arrivals. This role involves preparing properties for check-in, restocking essential supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and upholding a welcoming and hygienic environment for every guest.
What you’ll be doing:
Property Cleaning & Preparation
Clean and sanitize all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas (if applicable).
Change and arrange bed linens, towels, and guest essentials to hotel-quality standards.
Refill and organize toiletries, kitchen supplies, and other guest amenities.
Ensure all surfaces are wiped, floors are swept/mopped/vacuumed, and bins are emptied.
Check and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.
Inspection & Reporting
Conduct visual inspections of properties before and after cleaning.
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or missing inventory to the Property Manager.
Ensure appliances and lighting are working properly and report any faults.
Stock Management
Keep track of linen, toiletries, and supply inventory at each property.
Replenish items as required and notify supervisors of low stock or reorder needs.
Handle all materials, equipment, and cleaning products with care.
Guest-Ready Setup
Stage and present each property to create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for guests.
Ensure final touches (e.g., cushions, décor, lighting) are properly arranged for aesthetic appeal.
Who you are:
Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality preferred.
High attention to detail and ability to meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills both written & verbal especially in English.
Reliable, punctual, and physically able to perform manual tasks.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or outside of regular hours as needed.
Fast-paced environment, especially during turnover days and peak seasons.
Reliable means of transportation to ensure punctuality.
Driving License is considered as an asset.
