As a Financial Planning and Analysis (‘FP&A’) Manager, you will ensure investment decisions are appropriately evidenced and that our highest-value investments achieve value for money. You will also be involved in leading the analysis that supports our medium to long-term funding. In doing so, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation can continue to offer brilliant services, achieve our ambitious transformation and legislative reform agenda, and meet the highest standards for public expenditure.

 

Please note:

 

You will be aligned to either our Cardiff, Edinburgh or Belfast office, where you will be expected to attend on a regular basis.

Companies House cannot offer Visa sponsorship to candidates through this campaign.

We’re able to consider both full-time and part-time hours for this role for the successful candidate (part-time would be a minimum of 30 hours over 4 or 5 days).

Person specification

 

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following experience and skills:

 

CCAB/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with evidence of ongoing continuing professional development.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to explain financial and analytical information to a non-technical audience.

Ability to analyse and interpret financial and non-financial information and impact assess the relevance of findings for a commercial context.

Demonstrated experience in and techniques, including quality assurance, risk analysis, and sensitivity testing.

Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure with competing demands, to tight deadlines.

Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills.
